ECOPETROL

IKM partnered with ECOPETROL to develop a robust corporate strategy for the "Construction and Complex Infrastructure" division of the company. Through our innovative service, we created an Oil & Gas exploratory and drilling data analytics platform that uses advanced tools such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to completely transform the way infrastructure and industrial projects are built and operated.

As part of this partnership, we developed a unified Common Data Environment system that enables all departments linked to construction projects to extract historical, current, and future information from over 100,000,000 documents. This system is optimized to improve the way daily facility maintenance and operations tasks are performed, resulting in millions of dollars saved in man-hours.

This new way of operating assets will also provide precise and real-time information to senior executive leadership and regulatory agencies regarding maintenance and intervention projects across the entire portfolio of pipelines, perforation fields, wells, water management facilities, operating control centers, and more. All of this updated information, filtered through an executive dashboard, allows experts and senior leadership to identify potential risks, opportunities, and take effective action in case of developing situations.
